O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.428 of 2018 on the file of the respondent and file final report within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.428 of 2018, which was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 141, 143, 341, 352 and 448 of IPC on the file of the respondent police. The grievance of the petitioner is that even after lapse of three years, there is no progress in the investigation.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that investigation has been completed and the final report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.VI, Tiruchirapalli on 23.11.2020. But it has not been taken on file so far. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.16288 of 2021 4.Since the investigation has been completed and final report has been filed, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. However, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.VI, Tiruchirappalli to process the final report filed by the respondent police in this case as per Rules and after processing the same, compliance report must be submitted to the Registry.

5.With the above directions, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
