ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 2nd respondent to terminate the pregnancy of the petitioner i.e. Saratha daughter of Panneer aged about 25 years, the prisoner FRP 1/4

1284 in Special Prison for Women, Tiruchirappalli forthwith or at the earliest. 2.The petitioner is in jail and there is a dispute between husband and wife. However, the petitioner is inclined to terminate the pregnancy. 3.Without expressing any opinion on the issue raised by the petitioner, this Court is directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's case and act as per law. Especially, the 2nd respondent shall obtain the opinion of the Medical Board and thereafter, act accordingly. However, the same shall be considered within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
