ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 354 A(iv), 506(ii) of IPC and 1/4

Section 66-A of the Information Technology (Amendment) Act, 2008, in Crime No.Not Known of 2023, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on the basis of the complaint given by one Muthuvel that the petitioner has criminally threatened his daughter and compelled her to marriage, by showing the photographs taken by the petitioner along with the daughter of the defacto complainant , the present complaint came to be registered.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner and the defacto complainant's daughter were in love with each other and they proposed to marry, but the same was not liked by the said Muthuvel / defacto complainant. He abused them and filed this present complaint.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that petition enquiry is pending on the complaint.

5. Considering the submissions of both sides, let the above said enquiry be completed within a period of fifteen days. The petitioner shall appear before the respondent and co-operate with the enquiry and if at the daughter of the defacto complainant is not willing to marry the petitioner, the petitioner must return all the photographs that has been taken along with the defacto complainant's daughter, during the course of enquiry. If any trouble arises during the enquiry, the petitioner may workout his remedy through appropriate proceedings. 2/4

6. With this direction and liberty, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
