ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to rectify the extent shown in the FMB sketch pertaining to the property situated in Old Survey No.395/1 Part, New Town Survey No.25, Plot No.7, Ward D, Block No.18 measuring 2180 sq.ft in Kodaikanal Municipality, Kodaikanal Taluk, Dindigul District, by considering his representation dated 25.06.2025.
2. Heard the arguments of Mr.M.Ramesh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.S.Nedunchezian, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. According to the petitioner, he purchased the subject property under registered sale deed dated 15.02.2019. Though the petitioner purchased 5 cents of land (equivalent to 2180 sq.ft), in the FMB sketch, extent of property is mentioned as 4 cents. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation on 25.06.2025 seeking rectification of FMB sketch. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.
4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that if proper online application is filed, the petitioner's request will be considered on its own merits.
5. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the petitioner is directed to file proper online application and produce the acknowledgement card before the second respondent within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on production, the second respondent shall consider the same and pass final orders on its own merits within a further period of eight (8) weeks, after affording reasonable opportunity to the 3/6
petitioner and other interested parties.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
