ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 405, 418 and 420 of IPC, in Crime No.8 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and other accused received a sum of Rs.1,60,00,000/- from the defacto complainant for securing license to operate hotel along with an AC Bar. Thereafter, they failed to return the same with interest. Hence, the complaint.

3. There is no representation on the side of the petitioner.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) for the respondent police submitted that the petitioner and other accused received a sum of Rs.1,60,00,000/- from the defacto complainant for securing license to operate hotel along with an AC 2/4

Bar. Hence, he opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the seriousness of the offence committed by the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
