This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent bank to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 18.08.2022 for One Time Settlement in respect of Loan Account No.915030055600246 within a time stipulated by this Court. 1/3

2.Heard Mr.P.M.Vishnuvarthanan, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Pethurajesh, learned Counsel, who takes notice on behalf of the respondent. By consent of both parties, the present Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at admission stage. 3.Having regard to the limited scope of relief sought for in this Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's contention in the affidavit filed in support of this Writ Petition or in the representation, this Court is inclined to issue the following direction:

4.1.The respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 18.08.2022 for One Time Settlement in respect of Loan Account No.915030055600246 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
