ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The Writ of Mandamus has been instituted to direct the respondents 1 & 2 to conduct proper enquiry on the petitioner's representations, dated 19.12.2016 and 20.03.2024 and consequently, to take necessary action as against the 2/5
Government Officers and Village Panchayat President and other Officers of Village Panchayat and 12 beneficiary, who are all illegally getting Free Goat from the Government.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the free distribution of Goat by the Government was implemented in the year 2015. It is almost 10 years lapsed. He says there are scheme is implemented by providing freebies to the ineligible persons. However, the petitioner is unable to substantiate nor able to produce any document so as to entertain the writ petition. In the absence of any such document or evidence on record, the High Court cannot issue a direction to consider the representation. Such direction if issued would do no service to the cause of justice.
3. In view of the above, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. (S.M.S., J.) & (G.A.M., J.) 18.08.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No am 3/5
