The above petition has been filed seeking orders to condone the delay of 25 days in preferring the appeal, challenging the judgment of conviction made in S.C.No.259 of 2022 dated 16.04.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. Considering the reasons assigned and also taking note of the quantum of delay, this Court is inclined to condone the delay. Accordingly, this petition is ordered and the Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is otherwise in order.
