O RDER This petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry on a compliant given by the respondent No.3.
2.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that there are certain monetary issues between the petitioner and the respondent No.3, for which the respondent No.3 has given a complaint, basing on which the respondent Nos.1 and 2 police are trying to intervene in the dispute, which is purely civil in nature. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on the other hand submits that the complaint given by the respondent No.3 is registered as C.P.No.G3/017823/289/2023 and enquiry was conducted. The petitioner appeared before the police and gave an undertaking that he would pay an amount of Rs. 3,00,000/-, which is supposed to be given to the respondent No.3. In respect of others, the matter is seized by the Economic Offence Wing, Coimbatore and accordingly, the rest of the complainants were advised to approach the said Wing. 2/4
4.It is submitted that as of now since the respondent No.3 was assured by the petitioner that he would pay an amount of Rs.3,00,000/-, no complaint is pending against the petitioner. It is submitted further that 160 investors have invested money through the petitioner to the Sun Max Company. As there is no complaint pending against the petitioner before the police, no further orders can be passed in this case. Accordingly, this Petition is closed.
