Prayer in Crl.O.P(MD)No.10327 of 2024:- Criminal Original Petition filed under section 528 of the BNSS, to direct the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge for (PCR cases) Trichy to accept the surrender of the petitioners and consider the bail application on the same date of surrender in connection with Crime No.282 of 2024 on the file of the second respondent police.
ORDER:- This Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/s. K. Rajesh, Advocate for the Petitioners and of Mr. P. Kottai Chamy, Government Advocate for the 1st and 2nd respondents, this Court made the following order:
This petition has been filed seeking extension of time to surrender of the petitioners before the I Additional District and Sessions Judge (PCR Cases), Trichy, as ordered by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.10327 of 2024 dated 11.07.2024.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners could not surrender before the learned Sessions Judge and produce the sureties within the stipulated time as prescribed by this Court.
3. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, this petition is allowed and time is extended by ten days from the date of 2/4
receipt of copy of this order.
