PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.105 of 2020 on the file of the Respondent Police.
ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.
2. The petitioner is arrayed as Accused No.2. He was arrested and remanded to Judicial Custody on 10.12.2020 for the offences punishable under section 420 of I.P.C., in Crime No.105 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police. He seeks bail.
3. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along four other accused had illegally possessed demonetization Turkey Country currency notes and gave it to the defacto complainant by compelled him to convert the same as Indian currency and cheated him. Hence, the case.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the petitioner along with other four accused have possessed 30 Turkey Country notes and the Indian value of the above currency notes is Rupees Forty Six Crores and insisted the defacto complainant to exchange the same. It is an economic offence, by which the petitioner circulate the counterfeit currency notes of Turkey Country, which are demonetization and it is the offence against Indian economy.
5. Since the offence is said to have committed by the accused against the Indian economy and the investigation is at the initial stage, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. This Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
