The matrimonial dispute between the husband and wife has led to registration of criminal complaint in Cr.No.77 of 2017, dated 24.07.2017 for the offences under Sections 498(A), 406, 294(b) and 506(2) of IPC and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. Challenging that, in-laws of the defacto complainant, who are arrayed as accused Nos.2 to 4, have filed this petition to quash the complaint.

2. It is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the dispute between the husband and wife has been amicably settled and they are living together now peacefully and the parties have agreed not to pursue the matter further and the same has been https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P(MD)No.13017 of 2019 reported to the police and the police has closed the case as "mistake of fact".

3. Recording the statement of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the matter has been settled between the parties and nothing survives, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
