ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The writ on hand has been instituted to direct the respondents to establish a permanent Fire and Rescue Services Station within the municipal limits of Karambakkudi, Pudukkottai District, to ensure prompt and effective emergency services for the general public.

2.Mr.P.Thilak Kumar, learned Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents 1, 3 and 4 and Mr.S.Ravi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, takes notice for the second respondent. 3.With reference to the relief sought for in the present Writ Petition, the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1, 3 and 4 submitted that a decision has already been taken and sanction has been accorded for the construction of a Fire and Rescue Services Station within the municipal limits of Pallavarayanpathai Village, Karambakudi Circle, Pudukkottai and the construction works are also in progress. 3/6

4.In view of the above, the present Writ Petition has become unnecessary. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
