PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 3rd respondent to grant ten days ordinary leave to the petitioner's husband namely, Dharma @ Ananthan @ Saravanan, aged about 36 years, convicted prisoner without escort, now confined at Central Prison, Madurai, for enabling him to make arrangements for the college admission of his son based on the petitioner's representation dated 25.07.2024.

ORDER

The writ petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction to the third respondent to grant 10 days ordinary leave to the petitioner's husband, Dharma @ Ananthan @ Saravanan, aged about 36 years, who is now confined at Central Prison, Madurai, to enable him to make arrangement for college admission of his son. A representation in this regard has been submitted on 25.07.2024. 2/5

2. It is now informed by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that by order, dated 02.09.2024 in No.I/57130/2024, the representation of the petitioner had been considered and rejected by the third respondent.

3. The petitioner will necessarily have to question this particular order in manner known to law.
