ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.04.2025 and issue patta in her name in respect of the property situated in Survey No. 584/10B measuring 11 cents.
2. Heard the arguments of Mr.M.Ramachandran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. According to the petitioner, the subject property was originally purchased by petitioner's father-in-law from one Syed Mohamad Ambalam in the year 1959. However, patta for the subject property continued in the name of the said Syed Mohamad Ambalam. Later during UDR updation, the name of one Iqbal was wrongly included in the revenue document. Based on the wrong entry, the said Iqbal sold the 2/6
subject property in favour of third party and the said sale deed was declared as invalid by the civil Court in O.S.No.6 of 2020 on the file of the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate Court, Kamuthi. Based on the civil Court decree, the petitioner submitted an instant representation before the second respondent on 03.04.2025 seeking issuance of patta in her name. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.
5. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.04.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and other interested parties.
