O R D E R

The Petitioner herein seeks a direction to the first respondent to rectify the error occurred during online Town Survey up-dation of revenue records pertains to the Petitioner's property in T.S.No.7/2(Old S.No.40/2) in Block No.26, Ward C, Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District by considering the order passed by the third respondent in O.Mu.No.E/2427/2021, dated 7.10.2021.

2.Mr.D.S.Nedunchezian, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.According to the Petitioner, one acre of land in T.S.No.7/2 in Thirumangalam Village was originally classified as 'Ryot Manai'. During UDR updation of digital records, the same was wrongly entered as ''Sarkar Manai'.Therefore, the Petitioner submitted an application before the third respondent seeking rectification of the error in the digital records. The third respondent in his order, dated 7.10.2021 referred to above, had admitted that the classification was wrongly mentioned as 'Sarkar Manai' instead of 'Ryot Manai' and therefore, he submitted necessary proposal before the first respondent for rectification of the digital records. The Petitioner submitted a representation on 9.6.2025 requesting him to pass necessary orders for rectification of digital records in the light of the order passed by the third respondent. The same has not been considered till date. Hence the Petitioner is before this Court with the present Writ Petition for the relief stated supra.

4.Mr.S.Nedunchezian, learned Government Advocate who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the representation submitted by the Petitioner will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court. 5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on 3/6

the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the Petitioner, dated 9.6.2025 in the light of the order passed by the third respondent in his proceedings in O.Mu.No.E/2427/2021, dated 7.10.2021 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of 6 weeks from the date of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
