This court, by order dated 16.09.2025, quashed the final report in C.C.No.398 of 2013 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Thoothukudi, which was filed for the offences under Sections 294(b) and 506(i) of IPC and Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Charging Exorbitant Interest Act, 2012.

2.This matter is again listed today before this Court under the caption "For Being Mentioned"at the instance of the learned counsel for the petitioner for clarification as to whether the benefit of quashing the final report is extended to A2 to A4 who were not before this Court as well.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent. 1/3

4.In the present case, A1 alone has approached this Court seeking quashment of the final report. However, in view of the nature of the allegations, the observations made in the order would enure to the benefit of all the co-accused.

5.Thus, this Court clarifies that the entire case in Crime No.620 of 2013, which culminated into taking of cognizance in C.C.No.311 of 2015 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Thoothukudi, stood quashed in its entirety as against A1 to A4.
