ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 of BNSS., seeking orders, to direct the third respondent to expedite and complete the investigation and file final report related to the case in Crime No.17 of 2024 on the file of the third respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.17 of 2024 and that the investigation is almost completed. Hence, he seeks one week time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court. 2/4

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the third respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.17 of 2024 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of one weekfrom the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
