O R D E R
The petitioner, who is working as a Block Resource Teacher Educator at Tirunelveli, was transferred to the Government Higher Secondary School, Kurichi, Nagapattinam. Challenging the same, she has filed a writ petition in W.P(MD).No.19462 of 2021 before this Court on the ground that she has lost her spouse during the Covid-19 and therefore, she can be retained as per Clause 4(ii) of G.O.Ms.No.134, School Education Department, dated 18.08.2021. The said writ petition was allowed by this Court vide order dated 01.19.2022. However, the petitioner has not been accommodated in Tirunelveli District. Hence, she has filed a contempt application, in which, she got the relief and the Government has accepted that there are 5 vacancies within Tirunelveli District and she was accommodated. In this process, this petitioner was not paid with any salary. Therefore, this petitioner has submitted a representation on 07.07.2023 and also approached this Court seeking a writ of mandamus
directing the respondents to disburse the salary arrears to the petitioner from 16.09.2021 to 30.06.2023.

When this writ petition was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader by referring to the proceedings of the Chief Education Officer, Tirunelveli, in Na.Ka.No.649/m1/xgf/2024, dated 08.12.2025, submits that the request of the petitioner in her representation dated 07.07.2023 was considered and it was rejected. A copy of the proceedings has also been furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner.
3. In view of the same, considering the relief sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition, this Writ Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to workout her remedy by challenging the proceedings dated 08.12.2025 in the manner known to law.
