For Respondent : Mr.Seenivasan, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime no.20 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent.

2. The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 467, 468, 471 and 420 of I.P.C. r/w. 120(b) of I.P.C., in Crime No.21 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

3. A reading of the FIR shows that one Periyasamy as Power of Attorney had sold some portion of the property to one Narandranayak and Narandranayak appears to have executed Power of Attorney in favour of the petitioner, who in turn sold some portion of the property to one Krishnan. According to the defacto complainant, Narandranayak is fictitious person and the son of the petitioner is the rcel impostor.

4. According to the petitioner, this matter is only civil in nature and only based on the Power of Attorney, subsequent sales were effected.

CRL OP(MD). No.16108 of 2020 5.Since serious allegations have been made against the petitioner, the custodial interrogation of the petitioner only be required to bring out the entire truth. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. This Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
