ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner claims to have lodged an appeal wayback in the year 1982 before the first respondent. He wants the same to be disposed of now. I doubt if the papers would be available with the first respondent, even when if I assume that they were actually filed. The petitioner claims that his grandfather was assigned with the petition mentioned property and that it was later cancelled by the second respondent and that the cancellation order was put to challenge before the first respondent. The details are quite sketchy and vague. In any event, I permit the petitioner to file a fresh petition / appeal before the first respondent.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, I am not in a position to give a formal direction to the first respondent. It is for the first respondent to take a call in the matter on merits and in accordance with law after such petition / appeal is filed by the writ petitioner. 2/4
