O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the learned Principal District Court (P.C.R), Thanjavur, to consider the bail application of the petitioner on the same day on merits in Crime No.367 of 2021 on the file of the second respondent.
2. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the petitioner is the accused No.1 in Crime No.367 of 2021 on the file of the second respondent police, which was registered for the offences under Section 294(b) IPC and Sections 3(1)(r) and 3(1)(s) of the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989. . 3.The petitioner submits that he intends to surrender before the learned Principal District Court (P.C.R), Thanjavur, and sought for a direction to dispose of the bail application on the same day in Crime No.367 of 2021 on the file of the second respondent.
4. The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the respondents Police submits that there are about 41 cases registered against the petitioner, out of which, nine cases are still pending. 2/4
5. Considering the fact that the petitioner is having so many cases, the direction sought for by the petitioner cannot be considered.
