This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned undated order passed by the fourth respondent received on 26.08.2022 and quash the same consequently, directing the respondents to grant permission to install Vinayagar idol in the place of near Chentur Scan Centre, Thirumangalam, Madurai District on 31.08.2022 and to grant permission and adequate police protection for the procession and immerse of Vinayagar Idol scheduled to be held on 02.09.2022.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.The petitioner has sought permission for installation of Vinayagar Idols and for procession. The Sub-Inspector of Police, Tirumangalam Town Police Station has passed the impugned order rejecting the requisition on the ground of law and order problem. 4.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that they are ready to withdraw the prayer for conducting public meeting and also file an affidavit to that effect before the concerned authority.
5.In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is directed to file an affidavit as aforesaid and on filing of the same, the respondents are directed to consider the application and grant permission by imposing necessary conditions specified in the Government Order in G.O.(Ms)No.598, Public (Law & Order-B) Department, dated 09.08.2018.

4.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No cost.
