Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to conduct survey and mark the boundaries of the property in Survey No.40/2 to an extent of 26.00 Ares (64.25 Cents) situated in Thoruvalur Village, Ramanathapuram Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, and to provide sketch for the same, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 24.06.2025, in accordance with law.

ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to second respondent to conduct survey of the property situated in Survey No.40/2 at Thoruvalur Village, Ramanathapuram Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, by considering his representation, dated 24.06.2025.
2. According to the petitioner, the subject property was purchased by him under a registered sale deed, dated 29.08.1984, and patta for the said property stands in his name in patta No.1313. He submitted an online application in application No.2025/0123/27/004898, dated 15.03.2025, seeking survey of the subject property. The same has not been considered. Hence, he has come before this Court.
3. The Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents, would submit that the subject property has already been surveyed and the petitioner refused to sign the acknowledgement.
4. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, first respondent is directed to furnish the survey report
to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. If the petitioner is not satisfied with the survey report furnished by the respondent, it is open for him to seek re-survey of the property, by filing an online application. If any such application is filed, the same shall be considered by the respondent in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of application.
5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. 17.07.2025 NCC :
