This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C seeking for a direction to respondent No.3 Police not to harass the petitioners under the guise of a representation given by respondent No.4 dated 22.07.2023.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners.
3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that the current paper received from respondent No.4 dated 22.07.2023 is being enquired into and will be disposed of shortly.
4. Considering the submissions made by learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) and on hearing of both sides, the respondent Police are directed to dispose of the representation given by the fourth respondent dated 22.07.2023 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
