O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondent to conduct survey and demarcation in land property belonged to the petitioner comprised in Survey No.51/8 measuring about 12 cents situated at Mallipattinam Town West Street, Vadakku Patchery, 13th Ward, Ulkadai, Ilaiyangudi Taluk (North Ilaiyangudi Group), Sivagangai District for fixing the boundaries and consequently making necessary changed in the FMB records based on the application of the petitioner dated 26.06.2023.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties and perused the materials available on record.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that a representation dated 26.06.2023 was made seeking survey and 2/6
demarcation of the boundaries of the property in question. Since no action has been taken by the respondents, the present writ petition has been filed.

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that if the petitioner submits a representation before the Special Tahsildar, Ground Rent, Revenue Follow-up work, Thiruppuvanam, after considering the claims of all parties, proper steps would be taken to survey and demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, to which the petitioner acceded.

In view of the above, this Court directs the petitioner to submit a copy of the representation dated 26.06.2023 to the Special Tahsildar, Ground Rent, Revenue Follow-up work, Thiruppuvanam, who shall, in turn, consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 26.06.2023 for survey and demarcation on merits and in accordance with law. Notice shall be issued to the petitioner and the owners of relevant adjacent lands and appropriate orders shall be passed in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act 3/6
1923, within a period of twelve weeks from today. In the event of any rival claims, the same can be agitated before the competent civil court. No costs.
