2022 which was already granted once by this Honourable Court in CRL MP(MD)NO.8233 OF 2023 vide ordered dated 14.06.2023. Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S GHOUSE YACOOB HUSSAIN.S, Advocate for the petitioner and of M/S.M.D.
This petition has been filed to extend the time for deposit as per the order passed in Crl.M.P.(MD).No.10095 of 2022 in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.9624 of 2022 on 08.09.2022.
2.By the order, dated 29.06.2022, the petitioner was directed to deposit a sum of Rs.1.25 crore before the concerned Court. Out of the above said amount Rs.50 Lakhs was already deposited to the credit of the crime number before the trial Court. The balance amount is Rs.75 lakhs. Out of the above said Rs.75 lakhs, Demand Draft has been taken for Rs.20 Lakhs in favour of the Special Court for TNPID Cases. A copy of the above said Demand Draft has also been produced. Apart from that Rs.5 lakhs in cash has also been deposited. The remaining amount is Rs.50 lakhs. The counsel for the petitioner seeks two months time to deposit the above said remaining amount of Rs.50 lakhs.
3.The learned counsel for the defacto complainant would submit that sufficient opportunity has been given to the petitioner to comply the above said condition. In spite of that he has not complied.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that his entire property has been attached. Now he is not in position to mobilize such huge fund immediately. Hence, prays time.
5.In view of the submissions made on either side, let the petitioner deposit the balance amount of Rs.50 lakhs, within a period of sixty days. No further time will be granted.
