This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to take appropriate action including police protection for completing the house construction in Re-Survey No.480/4A1B2 to an extent of 5 cents at Kunnathur Village, Kalluvatankuzhi, Irenipuram Post, Vilavathurai Village Panchayat, Vilavancode Taluk, Kanyakumari District based on the representations made by the petitioner on 08.08.2017 and 20.02.2018.

2. It is seen that in the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the petitioner seeks police protection through his representations dated 08.08.2017 and 20.02.2018. Now, almost 1 1⁄2 years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh petition, on fresh cause of action, if so advised.
