Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner is the president of the local body. He questions the issuance of NOC in favour of the eight respondent. The period for which the NOC was granted has since been expired. The eight respondent has to apply for its renewal. It is stated that he has already applied. When the statutory authorities deal with the petition for 2/5

renewal submitted by the eight respondent, they will bear in mind the statutory requirements set out in G.O Ms No.142, Public Works Department dated 23.07.2014. Only if the requirements are fulfilled, the renewal sought for by the eight respondent shall be granted. 3.This writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
