ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the respondents to grant permission and police protection conducting the temple festival in Sri Thatchan Kallathi Madasamy situated at Vannikkonenthal, Manoor Taluk, Tirunelveli District is scheduled to be held on 30.08.2024 to 31.08.2024 under their supervision, on the basis of the representation of the petitioner dated 01.02.2024. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that there are two groups and another group has already conducted the festival from 08.09.2024 to 10.09.2024 and the key of the Temple has also been handed over to the petitioner to conduct the festival. 3.Considering the above, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and take a decision today itself.
