ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to include necessary penal provisions of law and to add persons accused having connection with the case in Crime No.377 of 2021 registered on the file of the second respondent police station in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to include the offences under Section 494 and 120(b) of IPC in Crime No.377 of 2021. On the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the second respondent registered a case in Crime No.377 of 2021 for the offences punishable under Section 294(b), 323, 355 and 506(i) of IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002. Crl.O.P(MD)No.16535 of 2021 failed to register the case for the offences under Section 494 and 120(b) of IPC.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that while investigation, the second respondent filed an alteration report including the offences under Section 494 of IPC.
4. Recording the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to invoke the provisions under Section 216 and 319 of Cr.P.C. during the trial before the Trial Court.
