The petitioner /the defacto complainant in Crime No.206 of 1/4

2025, on the file of the Kottar Police Station, Kanyakumari District has filed this Criminal Original Petition, seeking transfer of investigation in Crime No.206 of 2025, from the file of the Kottar Police Station to some other investigating agency.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this petitioner has suffered grievous injury and she has been outraged by the accused, however, the case has been registered only for the offence under Sections 296(b), 115(2) and 351(2) of BNS, 2023. Therefore, this petitioner has made a representation to the higher officials, on 23.06.2025, seeking transfer of investigation in Crime No.206 of 2025, and has filed this writ petition.

3.Today, when this petition is taken up for admission, Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who takes notice for the respondents, on instructions, submits that the investigation in Crime No.206 of 2025 has already been completed and the final report has also been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Nagercoil, on 06.07.2025 through e-filing. 2/4

4.Since it is reported that the investigation in Crime No.206 of 2025 has already been completed and the final report has also been filed before the Judicial Magistrate Court No.II, Nagercoil, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
