ORDER

The petitioners, who are A1 & A2 in Cr.No.119 of 2025 on the file of the first respondent Police, have filed this petition to quash the said proceedings.

2.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the first respondent Police submits that the investigation in Cr.No.119 of 2025 has been completed and final report has also been filed through E.Filing before the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Kuzhithurai. 3.Recording the above submission, this criminal original petition is closed with liberty to the petitioners to challenge the final report, provided if he are having any grounds. Mere filing of final report through E-filing is not enough. It is the duty of the first respondent Police to ensure that the final report is taken on file. The learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Kuzhithurai is expected to take up the final report on file, without any delay, if it is otherwise in order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
