ORDER
The petitioner is an accused in Crime No.155 of 2016. She claims that for the very same incident, she has also lodged a complaint in Crime No.156 of 2016. Though the respondent police have filed the final report in the year 2016, in the case in Crime No.155 of 2016 registered against her, they have filed the final report in her complaint in Crime No.156 of 2016, only in the year 2022. Both cases are pending. Therefore, the petitioner seeks for a direction to the trial Court to dispose of the cases within stipulated time.
2. The learned Government Advocate on instruction submits that in the case in CC No.273 of 2022 there are eight accused and two accused are absconding. Therefore, the trial Court could not proceed. He also submits the case in CC.No.316 of 2016 is adjourned to 24.07.2025. 3.This Court considered the rival submissions made. 4.The petitioner seeks a direction to conclude the trial in CC.No. 273 of 2022 within a stipulated time. It is seen that the case in CC.No. 2/4
361 of 2016 against the petitioner is also pending for several years. Therefore, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Oddanchatram, Dindigul shall find out the possibility of conducting simultaneous trial in both cases. In case of warrants are not executed, necessary directions shall be issued to execute the warrants and the trial in both cases be proceeded. This petition is disposed of accordingly.
