The Writ Petition is filed challenging the order passed by the first respondent cancelling the patta issued in favour of Petitioner and restoring the revenue records in the name of second respondent, as per the 'A 'Register.

2.Mr.M.Gangatharan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the first respondent. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. Since no adverse order is passed against the second respondent, notice to him is dispensed with.

3.Against the order impugned in this Writ Petition, the Petitioner has an alternative remedy of revision before the District Revenue Officer under Section 14 of the Tamil Nadu Patta Passbook Act.

4.A perusal of the impugned order would suggest that the Petitioner has effectively participated in the proceedings before the first respondent and there is no violation of natural justice principles. In such circumstance, this Court is not inclined to entertain the above Writ Petition.

5.Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed, with liberty to move the revisional authority, for necessary relief, in the manner known to law. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
