ORDER

This Writ Petition is disposed of at the time of admission with the consent of the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

2. The petitioner has approached this Court on the eleventh hour, that is one day before the proposed auction is to be held by the third respondent temple on 18.07.2025.

3. It is submitted that the auction notice, that was impugned herein, do not contain any period for which the auction rights will be conferred to the successful 2/5

bidder.

4. That apart, it is submitted that the respondents have not given any date in the auction notice and merely, pasted the auction notice on the public space and thus, violated the provisions of the TN HR & CE Act, 1959.

5. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents, on the other hand, submits that if the petitioner is willing to participate the auction to be held tomorrow, the petitioner may offer his bid. The terms and conditions of the contract/lease period will be as per the agreement to be signed, subject to the petitioner participating in the auction tomorrow i.e., 18.07.2025.

6. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. Index : Yes / No 17.07.2025 Internet : Yes / No apd 3/5
