This revision arises out of the proceedings initiated by the Hindu Religious and Endowment Charitable Department for cancelling the lease granted in favour of the petitioner Oil Company under https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

C.R.P(MD)No.758 of 2014 Section 21(A) of the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Act, 1959. Very serious doubts have been expressed by the learned counsel for the respondents 3 to 6 about the maintainability of this revision.

2. I am not going into the said dispute inasmuch as the learned counsel for the petitioner has filed a memo stating that the revision has become infrutuous as the 6th respondent, who was appointed as a Trustee of the Temple which owns the land in question, has entered into a fresh lease agreement for a period of 3 years on 18.12.2020. The said memo is recorded and the revision is disposed of having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
