Respondent Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent herein to survey and earmark the boundaries of the property vacant land to an extent of 2300 Sq.ft., comprised in T.S.No.711/2A, Block No.12, Ward No.1, situated in Dindigul Town, Dindigul District, based on the online application No.2025/0178/13/000075 dated 15.04.2025, pertaining to the petitioner.

ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondent to survey the property situated in T.S.No.711/2A, Block No.12, Ward No.1, situated in Dindigul Town, Dindigul District by considering the petitioner's online application dated 15.04.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondent.

3. By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

4. According to the petitioner, the subject property was purchased by him under a Sale Deed dated 25.03.2022 from one Rajeshwari. She in turn purchased the property from one Kandhasamy in the year 2021. TSLR (Town Survey Land Register) for the subject property stands in the name of vendor's vendor Kandhasamy. The petitioner submitted an 2/6

application on 15.04.2025 in kD/vz;/2025/0178/13/000075 seeking survey of the property and the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court, seeking the above mentioned direction.

5. Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondent would submit that the application of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondent is directed to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 15.04.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, Kandhasamy, in whose name the TSLR stands today, neighboring land owners and other interested parties.
