(Order of the Court was delivered by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.) Heard both sides.

2. The petitioner is a resident of Thevarayaneri in Asur Post, Trichy District. He complains that there are encroachments in survey No. 299/ 46 and Survey No. 300/1.

3. We had a look at the revenue records. It is seen that survey No. 299/46 has been classified as "road" while survey No. 300/1 has been earmarked for school and water tank. It is admitted by the authorities that there are encroachments in survey No. 300/1. If that 2/4

3 W.P.(MD)NO.19742 OF 2019 be so, the said encroachment has to be removed by adhering to due process of law.

4. We direct the third respondent to issue notices to the encroacher in question and have the encroachments removed. This exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition stands disposed of, accordingly. No costs.
