O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed to quash the impugned FIR in Crime No.48 of 2021 registered on the file of the first respondent.

2.The defacto complainant/Muniyandi could not appear before this Court due to his ill-health. Selvaganesh, the son of the defacto complainant is present before this Court in person. He has been duly identified by Mr.Rajamani, Sub Inspector of Police attached to first respondent police station. He confirms that the matter has been settled between the parties. The parties have filed a memo of joint compromise dated 24.10.2021. When the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement, no purpose will be served in keeping the impugned prosecution alive. In the interest of justice, the impugned FIR is quashed and the criminal original petition is allowed.
