Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to remove the electricity service connection drawn for third respondent from electrical post standing near plot Nos.60 and 61 and provide electricity service connection to the third respondent from the electrical post standing in front of her commercial plot "M" Vivekanandha Nagar from where she had already obtained temporary electricity service connection. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to remove the electricity service connection drawn for third respondent from electrical post standing near plot Nos.60 and 61 and provide electricity service connection to the third respondent from the electrical post standing in front of her commercial plot "M" Vivekanandha Nagar from where she had already obtained temporary electricity service connection.

2. This writ petition is disposed of at the time of admission after dispensing with notice on the third respondent as no adverse orders are proposed to be passed against her.

3. The wide prayer sought by the petitioner cannot be granted without notice to the third respondent. However, it is submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 04.06.2025 will be considered and disposed of by the Assistant Executive Engineer, In Charge of Vivekandha Nagar, Moontrumavadi, Madurai Electricity Distribution System, K.Pudur, Madurai.

Since the competent authority has not been impleaded as a party, Assistant Executive Engineer, In Charge of Vivekandha Nagar, Moontrumavadi, Madurai Electricity Distribution System, K.Pudur, Madurai is suo motu impleaded as the fourth respondent. Registry is directed to carry out necessary amendment in the cause title.

5. The fourth respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 04.06.2025 after due notice to the third respondent. The 3/6

respondents 1 and 2 are directed to transfer all records to the fourth respondent to pass appropriate orders. It is needless to state that before passing final orders petitioner and the third respondent shall be heard. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. The writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
