This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd Respondent police to grant necessary police protection to the petitioner and her family members life and limb.

2. Heard Mr.P. Muthusamy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.K.Suyambulinga Bharathi, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents-1 & 2.

3. It is seen from the records that the petitioner and the respondents-3 & 4 have lodged complaint against each other and both the complaints have been registered in Crime Nos.131 of 2019 and 132 of 2019 and the occurrence took place on 11.04.2019. The petitioner and the respondents-3 & 4 are belonging to same family and close relatives and in such circumstances, now the petitioner sought police protection from the second respondent. It is also seen from the records that the crimes have been registered against both the parties are pending for investigation.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that based on the complaints the respondent police conducted enquiry and closed the same.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances, now the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be considered now. However, the second respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry and complete the investigation and file final report, within a period of Three (3) months, from the date of a receipt of copy of the order.

6. With the above observations, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed off.
