Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, direct the respondents to re-fix the pay of the Petitioner by adopting 2.57 multiplier/matrix on par with 7th Pay revision from the date of promotion and other benefits in the light of the order passed in WP(MD).No.3609 of 2020 dated 20.06.2023 which was confirmed by the Division bench in W.A.(MD)No.1099 of 2024 dated 04.07.2024 and the Honorable supreme court in SLP.(C)No. 26264 of 2024 dated 11.11.2024.

This writ petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to re-fix the petitioner's pay by applying the 2.57 multiplier/matrix in line with the 7th Pay Commission recommendations, from the date of his promotion, along with all consequential benefits, in accordance with the judgment passed in W.P. (MD) No. 3609 of 2020 dated 20.06.2023, as upheld by the Division Bench in W.A. (MD) No. 1099 of 2024 dated 04.07.2024 and 2/6
affirmed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in SLP (C) No. 26264 of 2024 dated 11.11.2024.
2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, although several grounds have been raised in the writ petition, it would suffice if this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.07.2025, in the light of the order passed by this Court in W.P. (MD) No. 3609 of 2020 dated 20.06.2023, which was affirmed by the Division Bench in W.A. (MD) No. 1099 of 2024 dated 04.07.2024 and by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in SLP (C) No. 26264 of 2024 dated 11.11.2024, and to pass appropriate orders within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
4. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the 3/6
case, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.06.2025, in the light of the aforesaid orders relied upon by the learned counsel for the petitioner, on its own merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
