PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent (The Tahsildar, Vedasandur) to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 11.03.2026 in light of the petitioner's Registered Sale Deed Doc No. 997/2007 and the Civil Court Decree in O.S.No.96/2013 dated 07.02.2020 and to remove the entry of Late Amutharani from Patta No.1442, consequently direct him to issue a fresh, mutated Patta for the property under Survey No. 950, Kulathoor Village, Vedasandur Taluk, Dindigul District, in the petitioner's name (Dr.P.Jeyavanithamani) within a strict time frame to be fixed by this Court.

ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.03.2026. 2.By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2/6
3.Mr.I.Pinaygash, learned counsel for State, accepts notice for the respondents 1 to 3. Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, notice to the respondents 4 and 5 is dispensed with. 4.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the State of Tamil Nadu/respondents 1 to 3. 5.The petitioner seeks consideration of the said representation in the light of the judgment and decree passed in O.S.No.96 of 2013 dated 07.02.2020 on the file of the Principal District Munsif Court, Vedasandur, and also on the basis of the registered Sale Deed bearing Document No.997 of 2007. Consequently, the petitioner seeks the removal of the name of late Amutharani from Patta No.1442 and the issuance of a fresh mutated patta in accordance with law.
6.This Court, without going into the merits of the case, directing the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 3/6
11.03.2026, after issuing notice to the petitioner, respondents 4 and 5 and any other interested parties, if any and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law. While considering the said representation, the third respondent shall take into consideration the registered Sale Deed executed in favour of the petitioner and the judgment and decree passed in O.S.No.96 of 2013 dated 07.02.2020 on the file of the Principal District Munsif Court, Vedasandur. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve
(12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
