ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the respondents 3 and 4 to grant permission to "Kuthirai Eduppu Thiruvizha" in pursuant to the temple festival to be held on 30.08.2024 in respect of "Sri Vellandhangi Amman and Sri Muthukaruppa Swamy Temple", Alangudi Village, Neerpalani Post, Viralimalai Taluk, Pudukkottai District by considering the writ petitioner's representation dated 06.08.2024.

2. Mr.P.Kottai Chamy, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2/4

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that similar festival was already conducted on 26.07.2024 and the writ petitioner claiming to the representative of Alangudi Village has sought for permission to conduct the said festival separately on 30.08.2024.

4. Considering the above, the fourth respondent is directed to consider the writ petitioner's representation dated 06.08.2024 by giving notice to the writ petitioner as well as to the private respondents and take a decision within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
