ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to provide commercial Electricity Service Connection to the petitioner's Shops situated in Door Nos.15/95/1 and 15/95/2, No.1 Toll Gate, Pitchandar Koil, Mannachanallur, Trichy District based on the petitioner's application, dated 05.04.2025.

2. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submit that the pole situated opposite the building is leaning close to the building and therefore, the application of the petitioner cannot be processed immediately.

3. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the respondents, this writ petition is disposed of at the time of admission by directing the respondents to process the petitioner's application by providing electricity connection to the petitioner within a period of four 2/5

weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The respondents shall also take steps to correct the pole which are leaning on the building on this street to ensure that there are no untoward incident happens.
