Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to instruct respondents 3 and 4 to carry on the survey and measurement in pursuance of the petitioner's title deed vide Doc. No. 362/2015 on petitioner property bearing survey No.1484/2A2 situated at north Valliyoor, Tirunelveli District.

ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to second respondent to instruct respondents 3 and 4 to survey the property situated in Survey No. 1484/2A2, at North Valliyoor, Tirunelveli District.

2. The petitioner and two others purchased the subject property under a registered sale deed, dated 11.02.2015 and patta for the subject property was issued in the name of petitioner and two other purchasers in Patta No.2758. The petitioner filed an online application on 15.03.2025 in Application No.2025/0123/29/003960, seeking survey of the property. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for respondents 1 to 4, would submit that the application submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

4. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the online application submitted by the petitioner, dated 15.03.2025, and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after issuing notice to petitioner, private respondents 5 to 8, neighbouring land owners, and other interested parties.

5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected W.M.P.(MD) No.14956 of 2025 is closed. 18.07.2025 NCC :
