ORDER
The Writ Petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection for the writ petitioner's life and limb during the period of laying fencing in his property by considering his representation dated 21.06.2024 within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the writ petitioner, CSR No.856 of 2023 came to be registered on 30.08.2023 and after enquiry, the same was ordered to be closed in 2023 itself.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner would submit that the writ petitioner has sent another complaint on 21.06.2024 2/4
addressed to the first respondent and marking a copy to the second respondent. But the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that they have not received any complaint.
5. Considering the submissions made on either side, the writ petitioner is directed to give a fresh complaint to the second respondent and on receipt of the same, the second respondent is directed to issue written summons to the writ petitioner and to the private respondent for causing their appearance before him for enquiry and there is no question of orally summoning the parties to the police station and thereafter the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry and conclude the same within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the writ petitioner's complaint.
6. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
