Prayer : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 528 of BNSS, to call for the records relating to the charge sheet in CC No.139/2023 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Papanasam and quash the same as illegal.

The petitioner /accused in CC No.139 of 2023, on the file of 1/4

the Judicial Magistrate Court, Papanasam has moved this petition to quash the above proceedings pending as against her, on the ground of compromise.

2.Though the learned counsel claims that the issue between the petitioner and the defacto complainant has been amicably settled and the proceedings in CC No.139 of 2023 has to be quashed on the ground of compromise, he has not produced any documents, such as compromise memo to that effect.

3.In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed, with liberty to this petitioner to move a petition afresh along with the compromise memo, if the issue is settled. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed.
