To direct the Hon`ble Special Court for Trail of cases under SC/ST Act, 1989, Madurai District to accept the petitioner`s surrender and consider his bail application on the same day in connection with Crime No.1375 of 2020, on the file of the 2nd respondent.
ORDER:- This Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of Thiru. J.Senthil Kumaraih, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Thiru. M.Vaikkam Karunanithi, Government Advocate for the respondent 1 and 2 this Court made the following order:
This petition has been filed to extend the time limit of the petitioner to surrender before the concerned Magistrate Court.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks time to produce sureties. Due to covid-19 pandemic, the petitioner is unable to execute sureties with in the stipulated time as per the order of Crl.O.P(MD) No.12088 of 2020 dated 22.10.2020. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. In view of the same, time granted by this Court vide order dated 22.10.2020 in Crl.O.P(MD) No.12088 of 2020 is extended further for a period of Fifteen days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
